"Happy Monthentine, to all." — Traditional Monthentine greeting
The History of Monthentine:
Some of the people of the land realized that it was it was such a beautiful time that comes around every so often. They wanted to celebrate all that they had accomplished. It didn't have to be a big to-do, but why not?!! They were so grateful, and we are still so grateful, so we want to celebrate Monthentine in your honour. And in the old tradition we say, "Happy Monthentine, to all."
Monthentine is a time-honored tradition, celebrated by those who came before us, and those who carry on the traditions to this day. Monthentine usually lasts more than one day, especially when two or more of the special days associated with it occur within a few suns of each other. If it's my Meezmus, and your Yuuzmus, it might be Weezmus, but it's definitely Monthentine! If I have a Meezmus and you have. Meezmus in the same timeframe, it's Monthentine if we want it to be! Let's say it's Theythemsgiving, and somebody's Yuuzmus, and somebody's Weezmus - Monthentine. Let's say a bunch of great things are happening in your life - Monthentine. There are and have been so many different ways to tell if it's Monthentine.
We aim to educate those who have never celebrated Monthentine, and re-invigorate the spirit of these cherished and time-honoured occasions.
Meezmus: A Time to Celebrate Me
Originating from vibrant self-expression, Meezmus invites you to honor yourself without apology. This jubilant celebration encourages healthy self-appreciation in a world that often demands humility at the expense of self-worth.
As the ancient Meezmus text proclaims: "'Tis Meezmus and it's time to CELEBRATE ME!!!!" This day is about recognizing personal achievements, embracing your unique qualities, and inviting others to join your celebration.
How to Celebrate
  • Host a Meezmus showcase where you share talents, accomplishments, or passions you're proud of
  • Create a personal highlight reel to share digitally with friends and family
  • Plan a day filled with your favorite activities and invite loved ones to participate (or not).

Meezmus is perfect for personal milestones, or anytime you want to celebrate your hard work and unique contributions!
The beauty of Meezmus lies in its balance—while centering yourself, you're also creating space for others to celebrate with you, strengthening community bonds through personal joy.
The History of Meezmus:
Excerpt from an old Meezmus text:
"In a time before most can remember, The First One said, "How am I ? I’m so glad you asked!!! ‘Tis Meezmus and it’s time to CELEBRATE ME!!!!" Meezmus is a day meant to honor ME and all of my glory! Don’t I deserve it? Of course I do! Now, ‘Tis time to invite those from far and wide to celebrate ME in whatever fashion I deem fit!!"
Meezmus is one of the time-honored traditions of Monthentine, celebrated by those who came before us, and those who carry on the traditions to this day.

Yuuzmus: A Celebration of You
Yuuzmus flips the script on Meezmus, creating a dedicated time to shower appreciation on others. This heartwarming tradition recognizes that acknowledging someone's value and achievements can be profoundly transformative.
Spotlight Others
Take time to genuinely notice what makes someone special—their efforts, growth, or unique qualities that might otherwise go unacknowledged.
Celebrate Achievements
Recognize both major milestones and small victories. Sometimes the everyday wins require the most courage and persistence.
Express Appreciation
Share specific, heartfelt compliments that go beyond surface-level praise to acknowledge someone's true impact on your life or community.
"You do youuuuuu!" — Traditional Yuuzmus greeting that historically contained as many U's as the speaker's household rank, now standardized to maintain equality
Modern Yuuzmus celebrations often include personalized gifts, public acknowledgments, or creating an experience tailored to someone's preferences—all ways of saying, "I see you, I value you, and I celebrate who you are."
The History of Yuuzmus:
Long ago, in the distance, the people dem heard, "Look at YOU!! You did that shit to the best of your abilities and KILLED IT!!" They had never seen anything like YOU shining this bright!!! GGGEEEEEEZZZZ!! They liked that energy over there, and for that, we celebrate!! You deserve it for being (insert expletives and compliments here)! Yuuzmus is to celebrate you and all that you mean to us because We Love YOU!!! Happy Yuuzmus!
But really, long ago when Yuuzmus first came about, the people took time to rejoice in others successes. They would be especially attentive to their community members when speaking with or of them in 2nd person. They went back and forth about who “you” was, until they finally just said collectively and in harmony, “ you do youuuuuu!” That’s how Yuuzmus became what it is today, and coincidentally when the spelling changed to include multiple u’s and people put as many or as few u’s in the spelling as they liked and the rank of their household. When the next president took office, they determined that 2 u’s was enough, so people wouldn’t feel a way if they didn’t have enough u’s in their Yuuzmus.
Today, we no longer acknowledge household rank for Yuuzmus. We realize the importance of everyone being able to celebrate that one day, when you say to someone, “ hey, you do you.” And that’s Yuuzmus for ya.
Yuuzmus is one of the time-honored traditions of Monthentine, celebrated by those who came before us, and those who carry on the traditions to this day.
We aim to educate those who have never celebrated, and re-invigorate the spirit of these cherished and long-forgotten occasions.
Weezmus: The Gathering of Community
When individual celebrations converge—whether multiple Meezmuses, Yuuzmuses, or a mix of holidays—the result is Weezmus, a beautiful confluence of collective joy. This special time honors the power of "we" and the magic that happens when people come together.
Weezmus Traditions
  • Gathering around metaphorical or literal campfires to share stories and warmth
  • Creating collaborative projects where each person contributes their unique talents
  • Hosting feasts where everyone brings something to the table
  • Expressing gratitude for the community bonds that enrich our lives
The phrase "WE MIGHT!" serves as both encouragement and recognition of collective potential—together, we might accomplish what none could do alone.

Weezmus often emerges organically when celebrations coincide, creating a perfect opportunity to expand your circle and blend traditions!
Today's Weezmus celebrations emphasize inclusivity and shared experience, creating spaces where everyone belongs and contributes to the collective joy.
The History of Weezmus:
Many, many moons ago, we gathered around the campfire, fire crackling, hands rubbed together, Birdmaningly. It was a time for us, for we. It is that time of year where we celebrate all of us!! We have done our very best in these weird times and we deserve a little cheer!! This year invite everyone, so WE can celebrate each other on Weezmus accordingly, because as we all know, WE MIGHT!! Oftentimes, if someone was having a Meemus around the same time someone else was having a Yuuzmus, they would have a Weezmus. Some cultures would do the same if for example two or more people were each having a Yuuzmus or Meezmus or Theythemsgiving around the same time and/or space.
Theythemsgiving: Honoring Diversity and Respect
Theythemsgiving celebrates the beauty of human diversity and the importance of honoring each person's identity with respect and appreciation. This inclusive holiday reminds us that recognizing others' accomplishments—big or small—strengthens our shared humanity.

"We do it for They/Them because they're worth it." — Traditional Theythemsgiving saying
Modern Theythemsgiving celebrations often include cultural showcases, educational exchanges, and communal meals featuring diverse cuisines—all opportunities to learn from and celebrate the rich variety of human expression and experience.
The History of Theythemsgiving:
It's always been a special time, where we celebrate THEM wherever THEY are!! Whether they be near or far, we celebrate their accomplishments whatever size!! We do it for They/Them because they’re worth it, don’t you think???
We come together to give and celebrate all that THEY have done for THEM!! Did they wake up this morning, wash their WHOLE @SS, have a life changing event occur?? Either way we deserve THEM and THEY deserve love! Each and every one of THEM!!!
